Bach Flowers - Edward Bach believed that flowers possessed powerful healing properties, which could be used to treat emotional problems, which were considered to be responsible for a range of physical ailments.
Dr Bach believed that negative emotions were the most significant cause of disease. He believed that emotional states such as fear, anxiety, depression, anger and guilt were responsible for physical ailments. The treatment of these emotional states was considered to be important in restoring harmony and balance of the mind and body, which is essential for good health.
Moods were classified into seven categories, and these were then subdivided into 38 negative feelings. Each of these feelings are then associated with a specific plant.
Bach flower remedies are prepared through infusion and are sold in a concentrated form, which can be taken with water or juice or dropped directly onto the tongue.
